Azat Hovhannisyan to become professional boxer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vic Darchinyan’s manager Elias Nassar said that Darchinyan’s team is going to sign a contract with another Armenian boxer - Azat Hovhannisyan.

Hovhannisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that, indeed, he is going to become a professional boxer. “I have gained good results in amateur boxing and decided to compete in professional bouts,” Hovhannisyan said, adding that several companies displayed interest towards him, but he preferred Darchinyan’s team.

“Hovhannisyan has got a killing punch,” allboxing.ru quoted Elias Nassar as saying. Nassar also said that they are ready to offer good conditions for Hovhannisyan, who will soon move to Australia to compete in his first professional match in the middle of 2011.
