Danielyan, Mkrtchyan win 9th round games at FIDE Women’s Grand Prix

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Elina Danielyan and Lilit Mkrtchyan won their 9th round games against Martha Fierro of Ecuador and Zhu Chen of Qatar at FIDE Women’s Grand Prix series in Doha.

Danielyan firmly keeps the lead at the tournament with 7.5 points. Mkrtchyan is 7th with 4 points. In round 10, Danielyan and Mkrtchyan will face Pia Cramling (Sweden) and Humpy Koneru (India) respectively.
