Lilit Mkrtchyan claims victory in European Individual Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian chess player Lilit Mkrtchyan scored a victory over Russia's Marina Romanko, completing the 11th round of the European Individual Chess Championship with 8.5 points.



In a tiebreak, Lilit Mkrtchyan will come against Russian Yekaterina Kovalevskaya to win the title of European Champion.



She is the only Armenian chess player, who will be qualified for the World Championship for Women.
