Union of Armenians of Russia pickets Turkish Embassy in Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Union of Armenians of Russia picketed the Turkish Embassy in Moscow today. The city administration has authorized participation of 10 people in the action.



"The matter is that trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky is going on in the court building situated near the Turkish Embassy. The street was blocked by police officers," Levon Mukunyan, vice chairman of the UAR, told PanARMENIAN.Net



The demonstrators' slogan was "There is no pardon without repentance! There is no trust without pardon! There is no neighbourliness without trust!"



In the afternoon, some 500-600 representatives of the Armenian community will hold a rally to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
