Armen Grigoryan: Armenian weightlifters proved they are the best

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian weightlifters won 12 medals, finishing third (after China and Kazakhstan) in the team event at the World Weightlifting Championships in Goyang, South Korea.



"Our wrestlers proved they are the best," RA Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Armen Grigoryan said welcoming the sportsmen at Zvartnots International Airports on November 30.



Nazik Avdalyan (69 w/c) won 3 gold medals and the Champion's title. Hripsime Khurshudyan won 3 bronze medals.



Men's team:

Arakel Mirzoyan (69 w/c) - a silver and a bronze medal

Tigran G. Martirosyan (77 w/c) - two silver medals

Tigran V. Martirosyan (85 w/c) - a silver medal

Gevorg Petrosyan (85 w/c) - a bronze medal.
