Iran does not accept Turkey as mediator

PanARMENIAN.Net - Barack Obama's statement on Turkey's ability to relieve nuclear energy -related strain between Iran and world community gave rise to Tehran's negative reaction.



Iranian Foreign Ministry official representative Ramin Mehmanperest reiterated Tehran's statement on the issue: "We clearly expressed our position on nuclear energy issue. We don't believe other states authorized to comment on our approach."



After their White House meeting, Obama and Erdogan spoke with media representatives on the possibility of Turkey's mediation in Iran's nuclear program -related issue, Iran.ru reported.
