PanARMENIAN.Net - Brazilian chess player of Armenian descent Grikor-Sevak Mekhitarian gained 7.5 points at the Brazilian championship and shared the 3-4th positions with Rafael Leitao. Thanks to this result, Mekhitarian was awarded grandmaster status.
