PanARMENIAN.Net - Only one person out of the 76 seriously or critically ill patients hospitalized at Yerevan's Mikaelyan hospital has been vaccinated against the coronavirus, Rector of the State Medical University Armen Muradyan said on Tuesday, November 2.

"We have no alternative, in the current situation we are all obliged to overcome this catastrophe that has befallen the world, including ourselves," Muradyan said in a Facebook post.

The Former Minister of Health urged the public to follow regulations established by the authorities, recognize and spread only reliable professional information,

"I assure you that our doctors and nurses are fulfilling their duty, I am sure that this time, thanks to the efforts of our medical staff, we will overcome this catastrophe that has befallen us," Muradyan said.

Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan revealed earlier that 254,000 people – or 12% of the country's adult population – have been fully vaccinated so far.
