Four Armenian athletes to compete on day one

PanARMENIAN.Net - Four Armenian athletes on Saturday, July 27 will compete for medals at the Paris Olympics, which opened in the French capital the day before.

Varsenik Manucharyan will compete in swimming, Elmira Karapetyan in fencing, gymnasts Artur Davtyan and Vahagn Davtyan will perform to qualify for the finals.

In total, Armenia has sent 15 athletes, including five wrestlers, weightlifters, one swimmer, two gymnasts, one boxer, and one runner to the Olympics.
