Spertsyan named Armenia’s best footballer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Eduard Spertsyan, midfielder for the Armenia national team and Russian club Krasnodar, has been named Armenia’s best footballer. The Football Federation of Armenia announced the results of its Player of the Year awards.

Spertsyan received 17 votes.

The 25-year-old scored five goals for the national team this year.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, midfielder for Inter Milan, came second with 8 votes.

Spertsyan also won the Russian Premier League title with Krasnodar this season.
