Armenia names World Championship shooting squad![]() July 20, 2026 - 11:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian shooters will compete at the Moving Target World Championship, to be held in Tallinn, Estonia, from July 20 to 26, the national federation announced. Armenia will be represented by the following athletes: Mari Ghazaryan, Hamlet Karenyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Gor Khachatryan, Anahit Sargsyan, Hovhannes Margaryan, Aida Azatyan, Gor Martirosyan, Arusyak Grigoryan, Hayk Minasyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan and Manvel Mirzoyan. The team will travel to the competition under the leadership of Armenian Shooting Federation Secretary General Areg Saribekyan, accompanied by coaches Edgar Baghdasaryan and Edward Gharibyan. Around 80 shooters from 17 countries are expected to compete at the championship. Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28. Armenian gymnast, Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan has reached the finals of the World Cup. Gor Manvelyan has denied reports alleging that he has expressed a desire to one day play for the French national team.
