Armenia celebrates fourth victory at World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 29,Armenia’s team defeated Belarus 2.5-1.5 in the fourth round of the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad held in Burdur, Turkey, from November 26 to December 5.

Karen Grigoryan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan celebrated victory; Robert Aghasaryan tied his game, while Tigran Petrosyan suffered a defeat.

Currently, Armenia tops the standings with 13.5 points, followed by India (11.5 points).
