Armenian weightlifters show unsatisfactory results at European Weightlifting Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - At Russia-hosted European Weightlifting Championship, Armenia was represented by Samvel Grigoryan and Vanik Avetisyan (69 kg). The sportsmen came 5th and 6th respectively, having lifted 313 and 312 kg in clean and jerk combination.

Vladislav Lukanin of Russia won gold in 69 kg weight class, having shown the result of 332 kg.

Smbat Margaryan (56 kg) and Elen Grigoryan (53 kg) won bronze and silver medals respectively.

On April 17, Araik Mirzoyan and Aghasi Aghasyan will perform in 77 kg weigh class.
