Tigran Petrosian wins Benasque International Chess Open

PanARMENIAN.Net - Villa de Benasque International Chess Open was completed in Spain.

The Chess Open hosted 471 chess players, 35 of which are grandmasters.

Armenia’s Grandmaster Tigran Petrosian won the champion’s title. Petrosyan from the first tour was leading tie-break.

In ten rounds of the Chess Open, Petrosyan defeated rivals in 7 matches and tied 3 matches.

Scoring 8,5 points, he left his competitors half point behind and won the first place.

Grandmaster Zaven Andriasyan ended the last match in a draw with 7,5 points and ranks the14th Karen Movsisyan ranks the 46th scoring 6,5 points.
