NKR soldiers detain Azeri serviceman on Artsakh side

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 23, 2012, at 3:30 pm local time, an NKR Defense Army servicemen on combat duty detained an Azerbaijani citizen passing over to the Karabakh side in the north-east section of the contact line.

The detainee wore a military uniform of the Azerbaijani armed forces, without any badges of rank. He had a military card written in the name of junior sergeant Akhundzade Mamedbagryu Talib-oglu, native of the AR Lenkoran region, born 1990.

The incident circumstances are currently being investigated by relevant NKR structures, with ICRC and OSCE Offices, accredited to Stepanakert, informed accordingly.
