EU willing to help Armenia to overcome difficulties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mr Javier Solana, the EU High Representative for common foreign and security policy, congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on assuming the office of President of Armenia.



The congratulatory message says, in part,

"Dear Mr President,

Let me congratulate you on assuming the office of President of Armenia. The European Union has been closely watching the post-election developments in Armenia. We are aware of the problems that emerged after you won the presidential election but we do welcome your proposal for dialogue.



The European Union is willing to assist Armenia in resisting these challenges and hopes for developemnt of relations with the Republic of Armenia."
