Presidents of Hockey Federation of Armenia and Georgia killed in road accident in Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 15, the north-east of Turkey, 10 kilometers from the city of Erzincan a terrible accident took place: passenger bus, traveling from Istanbul turned into the oncoming traffic lane, resulting in a collision with a Toyota jeep. All six passengers of jeep died on the spot. 



As it turned out, there were the president of the Armenian Ice Hockey Federation Karen Khachatryan (41), his wife Gayane Harutyunyan (40 years) and their son Levon Khachatryan (18 years), as well as citizens of Georgia, Lasha Tsagareshvili (41) and Theo Berdzenishvili (42 years) in the jeep. The president of the Georgian Ice Hockey Federation Denis Davydov (40 years) was driving the jeep. 



The bus had 46 passengers, 14 of them were injured.
