Javakhyan became European champion despite change of weight class

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s welterweight Hrachik Javakhyan, who won the European Boxing Championships last weekend, said that he fought five difficult bouts, but managed to win thanks to a good spirit, despite change of the weight class (from 60kg to 64kg).

“I took on the 2009 world vice champion in the final, but I was stronger,” Javakyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
