Vardan Minasyan: early in 2010 I decided that the team needs alternation of generations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia Chief Coach Vardan Minasyan said that after the first friendly match with Belarus in 2010 he decided that the national team needs alternation of generations, as members of the team lacked motivation at that time.

Meanwhile, no result can be achieved without an internal motivation, Minasyan told journalists on December 6.

According to him, he had the task of forming a team in the beginning of the season. However, selection process is still under way.

Minasyan said that he attentively follows performance of Ajax FC member Araz Ozibilis, who can be invited to the national team.

He added that after injuries of defenders Aghvan Mkrtchyan and Levon Hayrapetyan, they managed to find an adequate substitution, inviting 20-year-old Artak Yedigaryan to the team.
