Favorites Krisztian Berki of Hungary and Britain's Elizabeth Tweddle picked up gold medals on the pommel horse and uneven bars respectively. Berki, 26, the world pommel horse champion, took gold at Berlin's Max Schmeling Halle with a winning tally of 15,625 pts ahead of France's Cyril Tommasone's 15,050 pts. Thanks to Merdinyan’s success, Armenia came eleventh in the team event. Russia tops the standings with 8 medals.
