CSTO rapid reaction force consultations to launch in MoscowApril 10, 2009 - 19:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Experts from the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States will gather in Moscow on Apr. 13-14 for consultations on CSTO rapid reaction force activities.The experts will consider all proposals and remarks made by the CSTO member states. Members of Security Councils and Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense will take part in the meeting. In February 2009 a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) produced an agreement to set up a joint rapid-reaction force intended to respond to the "broadest range of threats and challenges."
