November 17, 2015 PanARMENIAN.Net - Creators of the mobile application Eye Care Plus warn that the app can’t be a substitute for regular examinations by an ophthalmologist and recommend a complete check-up after taking the tests offered by the program. The co-founder and director of the startup Pavel Snkhchyan shared the overview of the product with PanARMENIAN.Net Eye Care Plus represents personalized exercises for the eyes in the form of daily trainings aimed at improving the eyesight and preventing problems associated with it. In fact, the software package consists of the main application and satellite apps including small additional tests and training. Together, they help people identify the problem and prevent further complications with special exercises.
“Preventing complications is paramount. The app includes useful tips, detailing how to act in critical situations associated with vision. Users also have the opportunity to consult medical professionals, who helped us develop our tests and training. We have tried to combine the best ophthalmic methodology and experience of recent years in the mobile app,” Snkhchyan said.
The application offers a wide range of exercises for the eyes, including a special Tibetan method and techniques developed by well-known doctors. At the same time, the optimal methodology is available only after passing specific tests to identify the problem.
“Currently available for Android devices, the iOS version is underway. Of course, Eye Care Plus isn’t the only product of its kind, but we offer a lot of what others don’t, planning to later cooperate with medical institutions,” Snkhchyan noted. Founded two months ago, the startup currently employs eight people. Eye Care Plus was showcased at the DigiTec Expo 2015.
