PanARMENIAN.Net - The second half of Armenia vs Malta 2014 World Cup qualifier kicked off with 1:0 score, with Malta’s Michael Mifsud scoring the only goal on 8th minute.

Armenia played with more vigor in the second half mostly due to Yura Movsisyan who replaced Edgar Manucharyan.

Armenia tried hard to exert maximum pressure on the rival, however all attempts failed. The second half was remarkable by passes made my Aras Özbiliz, Yura Movsisyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, however none of them managed to equalize.

Thus, Malta scored 3 points in the match against Armenia. It’s noteworthy that Armenia scored 1:0 wins in the previous 3 matches against Malta, the first match played in 1994, with the remaining two matches played in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
