Yerevan to celebrate New Year without snow

PanARMENIAN.Net - The winter is unreasonably warm in Armenia this year. The air temperature was fixed at +15C in Yerevan and Ararat Valley, +20C in Meghri and +19C in Kapan. Similar temperature was observed in December of 1937, 1938, 1963 and 1967.



"If the weather persists, it may cause a serious damage to agriculture," said Zaruhi Petrosyan," the head of operative meteorology center at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.
