  Armenia drop to 4th position at World Team Chess ChampionshipJanuary 11, 2010 - 12:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net -    World Chess Team Championship FIDE holds World Chess Team Championship since 1985. 10 strongest teams of the world, selected in Chess Olympiads and continental team championships take part in it. During the first championship matches were held on 6 boards, and in next tournaments - on 4 boards. The venue of the first four tournaments was chosen the Swiss city of Lucerne, then it was decided to hold competitions in different cities. In 2001, the championship was held in Yerevan. The National Team of Armenia in 1997, 2001 and 2005, won the bronze medals.
