Orange Foundation in Armenia marks 1st anniversaryApril 19, 2012 - 16:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Christine Albanel, Executive Vice President, Communication and Philanthropy at France Telecom-Orange, who is for the first time in Armenia on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of Orange Foundation in Armenia, met with Armenian journalists on April 19. “I’m happy to be in Armenia on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of establishment of the Armenian Office of Orange Foundation. Under Orange trademark France Telecom Group is presented in 35 countries, but so far only in half of them it has established its foundations, though the Group is engaged in philanthropic activities in all of these 35 countries. This fact is testimony to our commitment to the country where we are present and where we are developing our business activity. I’m happy to see the work carried out by the Foundation and the support it shows to the country with its small and large projects, notably, to remote and vulnerable communities, people with communication problems and students,” Ms. Albanel said. Earlier in the morning, she met with the head of RA presidential administration Vigen Sargsyan and the French ambassador to Armenia.
