SCR hosts Armenian-made uniform exhibitionJuly 23, 2012 - 17:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 19, the head office building of South Caucasus Railway (SCR) CJSC hosted an exhibition of local Armenian products. The exhibition showcased “Vanuhi”, “Texworld”, “AF Image centre”, “Kanaker garment factory”, “Kotayk kosh”, “Atenas and Ares” companies that are currently participating in the tender for supplying uniforms for the needs of the railway. The quality of the products was evaluated by SCR CEO Victor Rebets, as well as the tender committee, which will determine the winner of previously announced tender. SCR gives the priority to the domestic producers while selecting the goods and service suppliers. In 2011 the Company ordered goods and services at the amount of AMD 2 bln. from about 20 Armenian producers. SCR encourages the development of high-tech producing, innovations, claiming specific quality requirements, the company’s press service reported.
