New military academy to be established in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan attended scientific council meeting at State Pedagogical University (ASPU) on November 15.

Congratulating the teaching staff on the university’s 90th anniversary, Minister Ohanyan hailed ASPU volunteers’ involvement in the army formation and Artsakh liberation war.

He noted the plan to establish a new military academy in 2013 for training army command staff.

Minister Ohanyan and university rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan further made an exchange of commemorative medals, books and albums on 20th anniversary of Armenian armed forces formation and university’s 90th anniversary.
