Borussia ready to pay €25 million for Mkhitaryan transfer

PanARMENIAN.Net - The sporting director of Borussia Dortmund Michel Zorc announced a possible addition of 3 players to the club.

According to Bild, the Armenia and Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one of them, with Borussia ready to pay Euro 25 million for his transfer.

As was reported earlier, the player did not appear at Shakhtar training session and is currently facing a fine.

According to Shakhtar general manager Sergey Palkin, there is no reason to justify the absence, as “Liverpool FC did not make any inquiry about the midfielder.”

“One thing is clear: Mkhitaryan did not arrive for the club’s practice session, although he was obliged to. If he doesn’t appear in the near future, we will have to impose a fine on him. He has no contract signed with Liverpool and I am sure that the reports on his alleged transfer are mere rumors,” Palkin said.
