 Azerbaijan launches fresh provocation on border December 9, 2021 - 17:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military launched a fresh provocation on the border with Armenia, opening fire from various caliber firearms on positions stationed in the province of Gegharkunik. The Armenian side took retaliatory measures, although shooting continued as of 17:00 Thursday, December 9, the Defense Ministry reported. On Wednesday, Azerbaijan twice opened fire on Armenian positions in the eastern and south-western sections of the border. No casualties were reported in either of the incidents.
