PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's fourth President Armen Sarkissian has shared a message on the death of Queen Elisabeth II.

"Very saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II," Sarkissian said in a statement on Friday, September 9.

"She was admired for her integrity, sense of duty, dedication to her country, wisdom and humanity. Most sincere condolences to His Majesty King Charles III, the Royal Family & to the people of Great Britain."

Sarkissian was the Armenia's longest-serving ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1998 to 2018.
