  Over 47,000 displaced Karabakh residents have arrived in Armenia September 27, 2023 - 13:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As of 08:00 on September 27, as many as 47,715 forcibly displaced people have arrived in Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh, a government spokesperson reports. The first several hundred refugees from war-torn Nagorno-Karabakh crossed into Armenian territory on September 24, as a forced evacuation begins that could lead to a mass exodus of ethnic Armenians from their historic homeland. On September 19, Azerbaijan launched a full-scale offensive against Nagorno-Karabakh, killings and injuring hundreds, including civilians. On September 20, the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh agreed to a ceasefire on Azerbaijan’s terms, including the dissolution of the Defense Army.
