Yura Movsisyan: we went to Russia for victory

PanARMENIAN.Net - On his Facebook page, Armenia’s forward Yura Movsisyan thanked all the fans who supported Armenia in the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier vs. Russia in Saint Petersburg which ended 3-1 in the hosts’ favor on June 4.

“The world witnessed how Armenia can play, and we went to Russia only for victory,” Movsisyan said, thanking for the support and words of encouragement.

Armenia’s Marcos Pizzeli was the first to score a goal after Movsisyan’s pass. But this was followed by three unanswered goals of Russia’s Pavlyuchenko.
